w210 ideas for new owner
 

hey guys, just getting in an almost-new '02 e430 4matic black on black and thinking of a few tweaks and wondering if anyone's done anything similar to what i'm thinking of...

1-amg body work , or at least front bumper cause i like round fogs much more than stock set up, not trying to set up a pseudo- E55 , but just like the way it sits with the body work. are there any known headaches with this type of upgrade? i'd assume true amg would fit fine if competently installed...also does pre-2000 front sport bumper fit post -2000?

2-smoked taillights , have visitied slaccessories.com and seen decent looking set avail there. also , as alternative , do pre-2000 tailights fit post 2000.? i just like them better.

3-grill , thinking of something to cut down on amount of chrome , havent seen anything satisfactory , and have no interest in 'big star' look , just a low key type of thing.

I have seen some people remove the hood star altogether and replace it with a really nice Mercedes Laurel symbol that is flat to the hood. Slaccessories should have it.
