That's an interesting thought. My main concern would be that some people may feel we are trying to force MercedesShop down their throat. We wouldn't want that but, if you could hand those cards to people you know or meet that have Mercedes...that's different.

hehe I tell every mercedes owner I meet about this place when I meet them, though some would probably not need this place, I always tell em about it.

I love this place.

3,200 Members!!!

It took us 13 days to gain the last 100 new members.
It wasn't long ago that we were picking up only 33 members a month!

I think we are starting to get much higher rankings in the search engines. If you do a search for "Mercedes Benz parts and technical information" we show up pretty high.

With our new focus on parts, we are starting to show up on some search engines when you search for "Mercedes Parts" or "Mercedes Benz Parts".

We think this is impacting our huge growth.
We are getting closer and closer to the point when we will have to have a dedicated server and OC-3. Hopefully, our parts sales continue to grow quickly so we can afford it!

Thanks to ALL of our members for making MercedesShop a HUGE success!

OK, I might piss some people off by suggesting this, but I think it would/could be appropriate.
What about giving all members a free trial phase? Like a 1, 2 or 3 month free membership, and see if they want to pay a small fee every month (say $5) to be a member after that. Do you think that would turn people away? I know for me, I was stuck after one or two visits and I wouldn't mind paying $5 a month for one of the highlights of my day.
Just a thought...
Maybe put that in a MercedesShop Vote (what is now oil) to see how member react?

I think the idae of the "business card" is a great one. I have told MANY people about this site, but a business card would give a tanigible reminder. This site ROCKS..

Somehow,

We (members) need to lobby for MBCA to support (in everyway) MercedesShop.com's progress!

What would the proper method be?

3,300 and counting...

This site continues to amaze me even though I am one of the creators. We certainly seem to have found something that several people want to be part of.

I wonder what percentage of Mercedes owners are Shop Forum members? 0.0000001% ??
We're just scratching the surface!

Since we launched the new FastLane we're starting to see Volvo, Porsche and VW people, too. Before long we'll have to open an ImportShop.com site.

I think it will continue to grow

exponentially. The important thing for a growing venture like this is how fast the parts sales are growing ?

I sure will be glad when I can get some business cards that say visit mercedesshop.com to put under some MB windowshield wipers at work.
