Greetings All,

I'd like to see two things happen to enhance our site greatly. The first is the ability to directly email another site member without going through the forum format first. It will allow us to send pics and documents to other members that way. The second enhancement would be to allow users to post either pics or documents in their posts to clarify problems and eliminate misconceptions about what the author is speaking about. I have run into the problem on several occassions where a picture was worth a thousand words, but wasn't able to post it for all to respond to. This feature would enhance our site tremendously with visual aids to help us or others trying to respond to a problem or part number for a particular part in question. Please take my suggestion in a good way to futher improve this site and make it the best it can be.

Thanks,

Charles

Can-Do:
I believe there was a problem in the past with some members being harassed and receiving rude email. If some one emails me through the forum, and includes their email address, I usually send them my email address on my reply, so we can continue the exchange. I like the initial screening the site provides, however, after the earlier experiences some members had on the board from a disgruntled former member. It is initially less convenient, but more secure. Members who don't want this can add their email address to their profile, I suppose.

Regarding posting pics or documents, you are correct about pics being worth 1000 words, and posting pics is routinely done. (for example: 86 300E fuse box ).

The techniques for posting pics are covered under the FAQ section. Hope this helps. Regards,
