Overall, MercedesShop’s move to the new server has gone smoothly with very few teething problems. We have tried hard to keep all Shop Forum members updated during the move and we’ve e-mailed you with work arounds for problems as they have surfaced.
Some members have “Allow Bulletin Board Administrators and Moderators To Send You Email Notices?” set to NO in your profile so, you aren’t getting any of these e-mails…which I assume is what you want. The following Shop Forum members have invalid e-mail address set up in their profile and are not receiving e-mails from me even though their profile is set to YES: USERNAME E-MAIL LISTED Walden waldenh@netscape.com mike mykmccom@mail.nt.net Bill wsbishop2@earthlink.com Travis tlm@sun.com rebob rebob@att.net charlie macj@lcc.com CHays m4378654@aol.com HuGo onlyhugo@aol.com If your name appears above, please click on “profile” in the upper right hand corner of the Shop Forum and correct your e-mail address. Here's one of the recent messages that was sent to all Shop Forum Members in case you did not receive it: ------------------- Some of you have complained that the Shop Forum is no longer remembering your Username and Password and that the little red folders for new messages are not showing up. Here's how to fix that: 1) Click on "preferences" in the upper right hand corner of the Shop Forum. Make sure Store User Name is set to YES. You can also set your default topic view to whatever you want...30 days works fine. Be sure to click on "submit preferences" even if you have made NO changes. 2) Make sure you have "cookies" turned on in your browser. Both Internet Explorer and Netscape have a setting for this.
