CONGRATS to Matt (aka: "Makakio") on his recent marriage. We *were* going to meet for the first time for lunch, but I got a reply e-mail from him saying he was on his honeymoon in Hawaii . He won't back until the end of June, that's why we haven't seen any posts from him in awhile. Let's all welcome him back to the forum in grand style -- with a dedicated Makakio *flaming* folder.

MATT: Now with that combined income you can afford the E55 you've always wanted (or maybe it's gonna be new furniture ). Anyways, CONGRATULATIONS! Hope you went "local-style" while in Hawaii and ate a lot of plate lunches, Spam Musubi -- you know da kine, "loco-moco".

Aloha Brah ,

Brian

Congratulations Matt!

Buy the car...who needs furniture when you have something much nicer to to plant your derrier in. Well, ok, maybe a bed...after all you are newlywed!

Congratulations and all the best.

Definitely buy the car, cause you're gonna lose the MB rights to the Missus, and you'll want to be looking through a Star.

Many happy years!!!

Thanks guys - after five years of logic, non-logic and outright pleading she relented (or that's MY story). Let's hope new MBZ purchases are not so difficult.

Bu - you nailed it. Spam musubi from Honolua Store every morning and Aloha Mixed Plate daily. Oh how I love my shoyu chicken, rice and mac salad! Funny though - after two weeks of sitting, I think the seatbelt shrunk and the car feels slower for some reason...
