Transportation Forum

I'd like to see a transportation forum. Something were we can put our purchases on, and if members here can transport them then we can help each other out.. I'd be willing to move stuff for people and I'm sure other people feel about the same.

a sub section on that _Could_ be Vehicle inspections. I've looked at local vehicles for people around here already. and other people have offered too. so why not have a forum or sub forum for it?

Great Idea!!!

Wow!!! That's a great idea! I'm a member of another forum and recently had someone that was driving thru Memphis that stopped and picked up something for me.

I'm driving to Lafayette, IN next weekend. I'm taking some wheels to t_walgamuth and picking up a car to bring home. I've got plenty of room and could pick up stuff and drop off along the way.

Sounds like a great idea. While I'm not currently in a position to offer my services, I hope to have a tow-capable vehicle in the not-too-distant future and would certainly be willing to help whenever possible.

Excellent idea. I don't do too much traveling, but would help when I can.

I think that transportation and inspections do not need their own forum; a sticky thread on each respective forum would suffice (sticky "transportation" in "parts", and sticky "inspection" in "cars"). By the way, if you need any parts shipped, let me know... my route is on the link in my signature!

What do you guys think?

I second the motion!!!! I have already test-driven some cars that were up for sale for out-of-town folks. Unfortunately, don't have time to scout out parts beyond my own needs, and that's failing too!!!

Maybe we need a different approach

Maybe we just need to publicize it over in the Diesel Discussion and also in the Classified section some more.

Maybe I need to put a big magnetic sign on the side of my truck (?) during my next roadtrip.
