I have always enjoyed his posts, especially his euro restoration thread. I have noticed however the last month or so that he has become increasingly aggressive in his posts.... Hopefully cooler heads prevail.

Me too. I hope he does not have some health problem causing him to be cranky. He used to be pretty laid back, I thought.

Once again someone is complaining on the internet about all the bad people while conveniently forgetting the common denominator in every argument is himself. Next we have a passive agressive "im leaving" post blaming his tendency to get into arguments with other forum members on "the state of the world" and "what is the world coming to".

I think that checks almost all the boxes for internet drama queen status. Only thing missing is the "im persecuted" post.

Its hard to believe people have the time for this kind of silliness.

So what if someone has a low post count. there are members from back when the Forum was started with low post counts.
Every once in a while one shows up with a problem or concern. Should we shun them because of low post count?

There is a whole lot more on the sidelines that pull info off the Forum, and never sign up.
I read for quite a while when I discovered the info from this Forum, then one day had to say something, and signed up.

This is exactly the same argument i got into with cooljay a while back as well.

He was insulting and confrontational with a new member OP with an excessive hard edge that wasnt entirely based on reality, was called on it by other members, got into a pissing match, the it was the same story about how bad the forum has gotten and how hes trying to present expert knowledge and was taking his information and leaving.

That above experience leaves me with little sympathy for his self assigned pariah status

No-one here 'hostile' (imo) maybe some hot headed or even arrogant (also imo)

Only one person here (no-one in this thread, so far) that I just dont like, put 'em on my ignore list, simple enough.

Some people dont like me, I'm sure, actually, on the many forums perused, probably a lot of people, I do not care. HA HA!

One thing on this forum that has me scratching my head once in a while are those forum members that feel the need to critique a car for sale. It is great to ask questions about a car, but to degrade the car, in my opinion, is not a courteous thing to do. It would be great to allow potential buyers to ask questions and to form their own opinion about the car for sale. I feel lucky to have some very nice vintage Mercedes automobiles, but I doubt that I would ever list a car for sale on this forum for the reasons stated.
