Another helpful site

I found this site to be pretty informative and fairly concise. It's especially good for someone (like me) who is fairly new to the MB world and not yet familiary with the lingo.
It is:
http://home.hiwaay.net/~gbf/mbmodels.html
It has pictures, chassis and engine numbers, and other useful stuff.

Question Mercedes-Benz computer card

I bought my 1992 300-E sport line M103 L6 engine used from one of my clients with only 36,000 miles. He gave me a packet of the owners books and radio code and other stuff they give you when you buy a new car. My question is their was no computer card with my packet to let me know the car's build information. Was this dropped by 1992. I know what options I have and color. But I seem to remember that Mercedes-Benz was very through in making sure the new owner get certain information in case he needs a part or service warranty work

Am I missing this? How can I get a copy from Mercedes.

You're supposed to know this, "W123 = middle class without the mediocrity"

You're welcome, Carlos. Just passing on the information I find useful.
