Mercedes v8 firing order animated
Here is drawing from info I received here. Simply informative. I hope someone posts an incorrection if there is one!
The drawings with #1 rod behind #5 in the threads that follow are incorrect. The one in this post is correct. http://img452.imageshack.us/img452/8...rcedev86lx.gif |
Thank you
This is great information, and your effort is appreciated.
Thank you. |
No Problem, my pc has been a hobby lately. One last note... Only #7 and #8 cylinder are like gm, there is slight difference elsewhere.

94' E500 firing order
hi bgd73, does this work like my 94' E500? do not know how to reconnect plug wire from passenger side to driver distributor cap or vice versa? help. thanx ph7.

1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 is also the non-HO Ford firing order for the 302. The 351W and HO were 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 :D
FWIW |
Small Block Chevy is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. And while your's is numbered down one side and then the other (as is a ford), a chevy is numbered according to rod order on the crank, meaning one bank is 1-3-5-7 and the other is 2-4-6-8.

And a Buick 3.8L V6 is 153624 15 too young, 36 too old 24 just right is how we used to remember it. :P
