Metric Stuff.....source.....
G'mornin' Folks,
I'm new here on the forum, however I have retired from a career where I gained a great deal of Diesel experience. I have noticed, while reading various posts, that there isn't a bunch of "general" but "useful" information. I use Metric Multistandard Components Corp. for a great deal of my needs. http://www.metricmcc.com/ I have been using those folks, professionally and recreationally for over 25 years. They are a great source for all sorts of fasteners, taps, dies, "banjo" fittings, tools, copper rings, "O" rings, measuring instruments, pipe fittings (they are different).....yadda, yadda......if you are seeking some metric stuff, and are not having a lot of luck...they are very helpful! Also of note.....if you are a really big time gear freak, and know what Whitworth threads are......check them out.......when they say "multistandard" they mean it!!! SB |
Thanks for the link. We have alot of metric hose fittings at work that sometimes are a pia to find a source for.

For the folks in the Denver area, there is a great source for metric items. Tools, bolts, nuts, studs, all-thread rod, chain, gears, hex keys, drills, triple square drivers, etc...
AAA Metric http://www.aaametric.com/ They are around SantaFe and Alameda. |

McMaster Carr has a very good online catalog for most of the mechanical lines they carry. Next day delivery requests are common for them and they do it.
Great for those needed nuts and bolts ect IF you know their size. |
Here is their website
