Handy tools, very useful, labor, time, money saving
Today member Funola started a great thread on glow plug diagnosis with inductive ammeters.
In searching, there are a number of handy tools which are not strictly speaking "special tools" but are very useful/time saving/ money saving. The inductive ammeters are such tools, and I bet other have ideas as well. I'd like to start a list of handy tools. As a Citroen DS mechanic, I never fix any car on the road w/o bringing my trusty 5-1/2" oil filter wrench which removes hydro-pneumatic spheres. Funola's inductive ammeters makes glow plug diagnosis accurate and easy. Who else has got tools to add to a list of handy non-special tools? Other tools like that are: stubby metric wrenches, WD-40 as diesel starter fluid; a brass wire brush, a set of 2' long 10 ga wire jumper wires with alligator clips. Well, now it's someone else's turn. Thanks, Strelnik
