Unhappy My 126 Service Manual CD's won't open

When I purchased this car I got 2 CD's with it.

CD 1 is for 300-350 Models.

CD 2 is for 380 to 420 Models.

When I put in CD I get this on my screen:

This Service Manual Library requires the
Adobe Acrobat ActiveX Control.
The required file is located on this CD.
The file name is ar32e301.exe

Can somebody help me Download what I need from the Net?

Much appreciated.

You need the latest version of Adobe Reader. This link should take you to Adobe where you can get the free version to open your CD's with. It will install the Active X control you need. You will see a information bar popup during download that will ask to install Active X. Click yes and download the file.

If you bought a factory copy, you'll need Adobe five, I think, or higher.

Try Steve Nervig's index which is a heck of a lot better than MB's interface for finding the appropriate section of the FSM -

http://web.mac.com/dakota/Mercedes/Indexes.html

Here's some information on the index -

An oddity of the FSM is some sections have a different document for turbo information. I think the intake manifold section is one of them. The section the CD interface brings up is something like XX-YYY.pdf but the section for a turbo intake manifold is actually XX-YYYa.pdf. I found a few -a versions in the CD that aren't called by the CD interface.
