Looking forward to constructing one.

Two questions to the group as a whole:

1. Has anyone seen reasonably accurate, reasonably economic DIGITAL gauges for this type of tester? That would be cool to have an exact reading for each pop.

2. Motometer has for years built a pencil-recording device into their compression tester, would be cool to have all your tests recorded like some " Data-Myte" QC recorders do.

That would make for very professional-looking tests

These are NOT criticisms of Evan's work, I think the tester is terrific and hope to make one soon. Just asking because those add-ons would be cool.

I am really starting to think seriously about building more special tools as retirement from one job approaches.

This is the one you want, in my opinion. I haven`t tried it yet but would love to hear from someone who has!

Min/Max Digital Pressure Gauges with NEMA 4X Case

I imagine that & lapping shims = pop dialed within a couple of PSI
