The PO finally found the service manual cd for my 87 300TD wagon. After finally getting through the required shockwave and adobe plugins there was no selection for the 300TD, only a 300SDL which i assume is pretty much the same except for the rear suspension and body. But i cannot find anything about the rear suspension and after reading throughout this forums remarks it appears that my search may be in vain. So i went to www.alldatadiy.com and subscribed for 26.95 year for the 87 300td. Attached is a pdf of the abs electrical diagram for you to see how clear they are.
