Ive tried searching on here and superturbodiesel for the torque for the rod nuts. its not in the haynes manual and it didnt come up in a google search. Any help is appreciated, i need to be able to put it back together tomorrow.

Measure the minimum necked down-down diameter prior to re-use.
NOTE: Replace when the minimum necked down-down diameter is 8.0 mm or less.

Initial tightening torque 40-50 Nm

then
Angle of rotation torque 90° -100°

ATTENTION:
If the bolts are replaced/knocked in with a hammer..
Tighten the first time to 60-70 Nm

then
Angle of rotation torque 90° -100°

WARNING:
Do NOT use a torque wrench for Angle of rotation torque = it can/will give a false angle reading..
