There where areas with no friction material remaining.
If you want more pictures, I still have them in archive for future tech sessions.

I recently tossed some of those out from a 722.3 with unknown (but thought to be 100-150K MI) mileage. Only the reverse looked like that. The others weren't bad but definitely thinner than new. But I have read that reverse is first to go...

Here's a picture to be going on with - I've got some more somewhere though.

This is from a 722.303



(From this thread 722.303 in bits photo shoot)

Notice how the clutch pack has gotten to hot (after the friction material has gone!) that the disks are now conical.
