Hello. Last August I bought a 1966 230SL. There is some work I feel comfortable doing, some I'll do even if I don't feel comfortable, and some I refuse to do. Does anyone know of a good mechanic in Ohio (perferrably in central Ohio) for this model car?

Hi:

Check out the forum on "Good MB Shops". Several shops are recommended by various members in Ohio, especially Aaron Greenberg, (don't know shop name) and Precision. Aaron is a forum member and contributes regularly. The Webmaster had good things to say about Precision as well. Good luck on your search!

No John, actually the board bogged down real bad on my end. I figure it was because two or more were trying to post at the same time. I simply cancelled the action, then came back and saw your post.

I did get the internal error message upon sending my abbreviated post. Seems to happen most every night about this time.

I live in Cow-lumbus, so downtown Cincinnnati is exactly 2 hours from my driveway. I will give Precision Motorcars a visit as it sounds very good. That was the only suggestion I could find in Ohio. There was a topic for the Cleveland area, but no replies. The person Aaron Greenberg that was mentioned works for Precision, so that was two hints toward the same shop. Anyone else?
