Rocky River Automotive Diagnostics

I have been going to Dan Gerber's shop for around 4-5 years and cannot recommend him highly enough. I live out in Lake County and still drive across town to take my C220 to him. I have had numerous repairs performed over the years and it has always been done right and at a fair price.

(No I'm not a relative! I just like praising people who do good, honest work)

I have taken my Bio Benz to Dan at Rocky River Automotive Diagnostics twice now. When I purchased it, it ran somewhat sluggishly and seemed to lack power, especially from idle to around 50 mph. I thought that it was because it was a 20+ year old car with high mileage. I couldn't have been more wrong! I took it to Dan for a tune up ( I live 90 min away and they had it done in a few hours.) and couldn't believe the difference when I was cruising I-77 on my way home. It had what seemed like double the power, and my transmission, which had been jerky and dropping gears before, shifted flawlessly. Dan gave me some suggestions for future repairs and we set up a date for me to drop the car off while I was engaged in military training. I wouldn't have thought that my Benz could run any better after the first tune up, but again I was mistaken. I again took it on I-77 to go home and it cruised flawlessly at 75-80 mph with lots of pedal left. This car had been taken to a "benz" mechanic only 4 months before I took it to Dan. He must have not really been a Benz mechanic after all. Dan is awesome to work with, honest, and has a great sense of humor. If you live within 3 hrs, Its well worth taking the time to take your machine to him. Benz makes some of the best cars on the road, they'll last forever if you get them serviced by the best mechanics.

Shop Closed

Hello to all that found this post. It's Dan the owner of R.R.A.D. as most of you know by now I had to close shop.
Why? Well it wasn't a lack of work or anything personal, in late Aug.08 my Landlady & I don't think of her as a Lady, told me I had to vacate the premises.
Well it took us a month to remove all equipment, parts, office, cars.........
I thought at 1st that it would not be to difficult to find a new location, as I had done it 5 yrs. before when we had outgrown our original shop on Wooster Rd.
Well I've been wrong, even with the slump in the economy there is still no suitable building in sight.
So with that said anyone knowing of a 5000 sq' building available on the west side of Cleveland give me a shout.
To all of my Valued Customers and many Friends that I've made over the years, I hope that I can get you all to come in when we celebrate Open House at our Next Location.

Meanwhile if anyone needs to get in contact with me please use the link at our site or contact me at Service@rockyriverauto.com

Thanks, Dan G. [/I][/I]
