Never heard of them. Did you use them?

I have not used them but found them and have been to their shop in Worthington. They are located on Sinclair just south of 161 near Busch Blvd.
I was impressed with the shop and the tech I spoke to and will use them the next time I need to use a shop. I was looking for an alternative shop to Crown since the MB flat rate times used by Crown seem to be excessive to me. |

i have worked with both Don and Terry there. Don is the owner and spent 20+ years with a local MB dealership before going out on his own. They have done work for me and are reputable.

I've used them and they seem to do good work. Went to their shop first to check them out, and saw a nice collection of 123s, 124s and 126s in and around the shop, and found out the mechanic who'd be working on my car drove the exact same year/model ('94 E420).

I called them about parts once I needed injector line... like NOW, they were more than the dealer, however the guy was very knowledgeable.

After having brought my car to MB Star, I retract my previous statement. i'd strongly recommend staying away from them--they did my trans service, the car leaked trans fluid, they kept insisting my seals were dried. I got under there, discovered they hadn't placed the gasket properly, removed the pan, reseated it and now it no longer leaks. Also, I had them flush my coolant, removed a radiator hose to do the thermostat and discovered green (!) coolant. They're as expensive, if not more, than the dealer, don't do good work, and don't stand by it.
