Smile Colorado Salvage Yards and Mechanics

Anybody know of a good salvage yard anywhere between Denver and Ft. Collins? I have an 88 300E (w124). Mechanic recommendations also appreciated!

Thanks!

Good Shop in Colorado

Opie I have used Gunbarrel Imports in Niwot and found them to be very competent.
Not cheap, but they do good work and stand behind what they do.
I have used Glauser as far as dealerships go for Warranty work on my C230 and have no complaints with them, they are more expensive though.
I do most of my own work now as the E is a spare car and I don't have to have it back on the road the next day.
As far as salvage yards there is Blakes Small Car in Eire has a couple of older W124s and they let you go with them while they take things off.
Prices there are about normal for a salvage yard. Where are you located?

Smile Thanks!

Gary - glenwood springs is a little out of the way for me. But please send the address because I do get over that way a few times a year.

whunter - thanks for that link. Very helpful. I'm still finding my way around the forum.

DMarble - I'll checkout that shop in Niwot and in Erie. I'm in Boulder. Thanks!
