I get logged out before I get to submit post

I have been finding that quite often if I type a long post that I have been logged out by the time I submit my post. I know, I should keep my posts shorter. This is a real pain if I did not think to copy my post to the clipboard before hitting submit. Can a longer time be allowed before automatically logging us out?

The time is currently set to 15 minutes. The longer we set this limit, the higher the load on the server and the slower our site will be.
I would like to leave this as is to keep our site running as fast as possible.
Be sure to copy your post before you post and then you can paste it if you exceed the time limit.

A side note...
This setting also controls the "who's online" function. You may have noticed that our site used to show 500 people or so online at a time. Now it shows around 125. That's because we changed this setting from 2 hours to 15 minutes.

Fair enough. Now that I know it is 15 minutes I will remember to copy to the clipboard so I can paste if necessary.
