Avatar question

I tried to load an avatar but I got an error message "picture loading failed." (Or words to that effect)

Do avatar pictures have to be reduced in size even further?

Also, I noticed that under their screen name some users have names or phrases that they use to further identify themselves.

How do you do that?

Avatars must be no larger than 65x65 pixels and the image file must be less than 20k

That is a Custom User Title. You set it in UserCP.
