1982 Mercedes 300SD, advice?
Hello everyone. I am living in Medellin, Colombia and I had been searching for a few months for a w123. There are only 2 for sale here but several in Bogotá. After reading many reviews and forums about these cars, and hearing everyone raving about the diesels, I began looking for strictly diesel models but I couldn't find any until today. I guess it is really a w126 from what I've read, maybe someone can confirm that for me. Here's my concern:
The car has been sitting for three years. The seller says that it is now fixed but it needed a new starter and he couldn't find someone to do the work until recently. It has been stored indoors. He is asking $2,280USD (7,000,000COP). Should I spend a few hundred dollars to see this car in Bogotá? It is the only diesel MB from the 80s I have found in the country. Here is the original post. I have contacted the seller for more pictures, if he sends me them, I'll post them. MERCEDES BENZ TIBURN MUY BUEN ESTADO | Carros | Colombia Cheers from SA! |

I hope you got your diesel.I like mine,it always runs,I can even burn used oil if I can't afford fuel.I plan to move to Ecuador in 3 years. The U.S. sucks now, everything is about money,no one enjoys life anymore.
