PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum - 85 BMW 325e for sale or trade

I bought my wife a new car, and I've inherited this one. In decent shape, need a few things. The good: new front hubs/bearings; new muffler & cat; new driveshaft, guibo joint (rubber disc between driveshaft and trans), center driveshaft support bearing; full power; moonroof; set of 4 brembo cross-drilled discs. The driveshaft is one of the ones from BMP with the chevy u-joint conversion. The bad: a little rust (this is NW Indiana), there is a shake in the front end (pretty sure its in the tires/wheels), the leather interior is worn; the glove box is missing; I think the synchro is going out of 2nd gear. It is a fun little car, but I don't have the time to fix all the little things it needs. Also, it is little - and I'm not (6'-1, 280-ish?); I can drive it semi-comfortably with sandles, but with my doc martens I almost need the jaws of life to get out. With a one year old, and another one due in the spring I need something a little larger. I will probably list it locally for $1500, but would love to trade for an old MB, especially diesel. I would drive this car anywhere, but it's more comfortable for me to putt around in my old jeep...
