Still thinking of selling my 1992 300TE 4matic wagon
 

I posted this about 6 months ago but had second thoughts. I still need to get a truck, and so I will see if there is any interest. I unfortunately dont have the space for 3 vehicles.

162K miles, light blue/dark blue and palomino interior, very nice condition cosmetically and mechanically. I have put a lot of $$ into her recently. Some notables include:

new head gasket, valve grind/valve stem seals/ full service refubishment of the head at a cylinder head shop. New head bolts.

all new cooling system (radiator, water pump, reservoir, hoses, t-stat, etc)

many new ignition parts (plugs/wires/cap/rotor/OVP/aftermarket (Accel) coil)

new cv axle, replaced due to torn boot

new serpentine belt

all new fluids

probably a few other things I am forgetting.

I have had a lot of the typical 150K issues and I think I have addressed just about everything major that should happen, so this should be a nice reliable ride for a while. I would keep it but I really need something I can haul with and it would be a shame to abuse this wagon.

I am in portland, oregon. I think $4500 would be a pretty good deal, and I would prefer to sell to someone from this group who knows the 300 series so they know what they are getting into :-)
