1981 300SD For Sale.

I have a 1981 300SD with 190k miles that I need to sell soon. I need to buy my wife a four door car to replace her 2 door tahoe. She won't drive the 300sd so I guess i'll have to sell it to help pay for the new car. I've owned the car for about 9 months and done several things to it. It has been great and has never let me down. I'd hate to see it go. I don't have time to go into detail right now as far as what I have put into it since it would take me about 2 hours to come up with a list. But, as far as questions go, ask away. The car is located in McAllen, TX. 78504. I'll be out of town this weekend but should still have internet access. Oh and yes, everything works except for the cruise control. Even the original R12 A/C Blows cold. all dash wood in near perfect shape. only a couple of hairline cracks around steering wheel area, barely noticable. 0 cracks on center console or climate control area My only complaint is a couple more oil leaks that i havent had time to fix. Leather is in rough shape on the front seats. Back seat ok.

Here is a list of what i can think of off hand that i've replaced.

Front pads
Front rotors
Complete exhaust ANSA/BOSAL
IP to block seal
Oil cooler lines replaced with new ones
Oil filter housing gaskets
Valve adjustment with new valve cover gasket
windshield washer pump
battery
alternator
thermostat
oil pan gasket
b2 piston
k1 kit
transmission filter/fluid change
transmission pan gasket
shifter linkage bushings under the car
new tires with 1k miles on them
resoldered tach amp --> still a little crazy but works most of the time.
resoldered climate controls --> works great
new ignition assembly and tumber with 2 original brand new keys
new flasher relay
power steering system flush and new filter
oil changed every 3k miles or less
turbo return gaskets and seals --> i think it will need this again
air filter has been replaced twice since i've owned it
transmission/throttle linkage/vacuum system all working properly and to spec
fuel filters replaced twice in 10k miles
diesel purge ran through twice
all new bosch glow plugs about 2 months ago car has upgraded quick glow (4 sec)
idler arm bushing kit
Drivers seat spring with added padding.

I'm sure there is more but this is all i can think of. Hopefully this will satisfy the jerks like the one that posted above for a few days until I get home. As far as a price goes. I need to get 3k for it before it MUST go. I have way too much money in this thing to give it away just because my wife won't drive it. It can sit in front of the house as far as i'm concerned.

Thanks for looking. Pictures coming in a few days.

Are you wanting us to talk you out of it Just noticed you didn't have a price or pictures, that is usually the first indication.

Being new, I might just better off keep quiet. But this kind of thread really piss me.

You might have a car for sale. Condition? Unknown. Price? Unknown. Sorry, no time to post the detail.

How about $30,000? Or maybe $900? $500? You got to be kidding to have post this kind of ad.

If it is in very good/excellent condition- how about $2000 if you deliver it to me?

man you guys are tough. Let him some slack. He said right on the title that he might be selling it. If you don't like it then don't open it up, take the time to read it, then take even more time to complain.

I agree with the "jerk".

I never bother to respond to such vaguely written ads with no asking price.

And, by the way, name calling is considered very bad form on here. It won't win you any points, and may even get you bounced.
