Euro 82 240D, parts car
Well, I need to sell my Euro 240D. It's in decent shape, with the normal rust spots on the doors. Blue out & in. It's got the 4 spd manual tranny with new clutch & throw out bearing. The engine is shot. I took the head off & there's a hole through the #3 piston & I don't have the time or money to rebuild it or replace it. It's got the self leveling suspension on the rear like the wagons, but I sold the pump already, everything else is there.
I won't part it out, don't have the time. It must be picked up in Grafton, OH, will ship if buyer arranges it. I'm asking $500 OBO for it. I was planning on swapping the tranny into my wagon, but I just need to get rid of it now.

wtb your 240 parts car
I'm looking a 240 parts car with a blown engine and tranny because I have my own engine and tranny to use. I just lost an auction on ebay for one. BLAST! Anyway could I get pictures of the car. General things like exterior, under the hood near the battery and maybe pictures of the rust. I am very interested but would like to either hear a little more detail or see some pictures before I come and see it. Thanks a lot I'll anxiously await your reply

Actually, I'm not sure. I didn't even know that was a polish sticker! It is a Euro car, so it might very well have been put on over there.

Anyone interested in this car? I haven't heard from deferr yet, so it's still available. This would still be a good car with a new engine in it or you can pull the 4 speed manual tranny & put it in place of your automatic.

Is this still available?
I might be interested in if I can figure out a way to get some time off from work to pick up. Or I suppose I can figure out a way to get picked up for me.
I've got an engine with low hours that should drop in there ok. What's the interior like? Let me know. Thanks, Todd

TPoole, The interior is perfect other than the the normal blue cracking on the top of the dash.
The other guy ended up finding another car before I was able to get the pictures, so it's all yours if you can get it.
