Thanks.
Is that a power amp mounted to the rear of the rear driver's side seatback?

JustComp 07-17-2005 12:19 PM

Yes, it is an US Acoustics USX-2150 amplifier. I used it in bridged mode (450 W) to power a subwoofer (will include for an additional $200 (CDT Audio 10"). The amp was installed by best buy - i recommend it be reinstalled, as it works occasionally. Pretend it is not there and once reinstalled consider it icing on the cake.

The head unit (Clarion Pro Audio) and dash speakers (5.25" CDT CL-5x) work flawlessly. I removed the rear door speakers, but will give whoever buys the car a pair of new in box Infinity 4" speakers to install if they like. I do not think they are necessary and never bothered to install them, YMMV.

The car is also wired for Sirius satellite radio, just call them and they will activate the service ($12/month). I have xm in the Suburban we bought to replace the 300td  and I prefer Sirius, again ymmv.

Also, The car has a 3rd row seat - email for a ~1 MB picture

Thanks for everyone's interest. This is a great car (as you here know) in great shape, I hate to part w/it, but...

Back on the market

A pending deal on this car has fallen through - here's some more info:

The car is in good shape, just had a compression test done: 370, 360, 380, 400, 355, 360. I have a pretty full maintenance history. The car has a newer Injection pump (172k miles), tranny & trap oxidizer (150k), new radiator last year, just got R134 3 weeks ago... It's a great car in v. good condition.

The pending deal fell through for no apparent reason, they simply stopped returning email. They were located on the west coast (I'm in Delaware) and did not inspect the car.

Thanks again for your interest.

In gas motors a less than 10% variance in compression is usually sought. What is it for diesels and what is the accepted range of compression?

I am interested in the wagon. I am in NJ...how far are you from nyc or philly?

Don

I'm about an hour south of Philly.

I do not know about the compression variances (anyone??). There are threads here regarding compression figures and my mechanic says anything over 300 is good and over 350-375 is very good.
