I have owned this car for years as a very dependable daily driver. I purchased her from the nephew of the original owner who had a GM V8 conversion professionally done. Its very impressive performance with the torque of the 300hp sbc/700R4 plus handling of the MB chassis make this car a pleasure to drive. It has been extremely reliable and I always averaged around 20mpg.
The exterior is in great shape. There has been no major body damage however, It has been resprayed the original white several years ago. There is a small spot of rust in the trunk well on the drivers side.
The interior in decent. Seats are very good, carpet is worn and the door panel small top pads are cracked. I have the material to repair this easy job. Tires are fair however, I will replace them soon.
I am selling it because the factory radio quit working and I hate to ruin this car by installing an aftermarket stereo.

Tom Bean,
How much are you asking for this unit?

Mr Bean passed long ago... mid 1800s I believe. He is burried in Bonham, Texas. His grave marker gives no birth date. Rumor has he awoke one day in the middle of a bean field so, he called himself Tom Bean. No one ever knew his age or where he came from.
He was a land surveyer and ended up "land poor".

I have a ranch three miles south of the small town of Tom Bean. Actually live 30 miles further south in Farmersville home of Audie Murphey they say. :1blank:

Oh yea, I'm firm at $2950 for this 'unit'.

BTW, Charles "Tex" Watson was from Farmersville as well. Which is easy to believe after living here for four yrs. Strange folks.

I know, I was making a joke.

Thanks for giving an amount on the 'unit'...sounds like some fun but is a tad more than I'm willing to spend.

You want to sell the car rather than install an aftermarket stereo yet the engine is a Chevy? Isn't that a little ironic?

Is the price a changin'?

Are you still firm on the $2,950?

Can you post some interior pics as well as other angles for the exterior? Email them to me if you can't post them here rparker@fbperry.com

Thanks,
RP
