cheap reliable car in Detroit WTB

I gave a 1998 Cadillac Deville to my brother-in-law as a Christmas gift. I live in St. Louis, he lives in Detroit. Transporting the car is becoming a problem...I wonder if there is a reliable Mbz in or around Detroit that I could buy to drive back to StL...I'm phobic of flying and would really prefer to drive both ways.
