1985 380SE (W126) - 120k miles - new timing chain
Dallas, TX - $1500
http://johns.tzo.com/mb380se Email me at: jtsdirect@hotmail.com This car was my daily driver up until about a year ago when I took it out of service to replace the timing chain. I borrowed my Mother-in-law's spare car to afford myself the time to do the job without fear of being without a car. She gave me the other car and I've been driving it ever since. Current condition: registered left rear window motor out, needs $7 plastic "sliding jaw" rear shelf out, ready to be recovered (have cloth) trunk panels need to be put back in (planned on doing stereo upgrade) OEM becker, not wired (tape does not work) last emmissions test passed with flying colors (needs current test) PS fluid leaks excellent compression on all cylinders seams on top of rear seat dry rotted two cracks in top of dash wood on dash needs a bit of glue in places I am the second owner of this car. I bought it from my mother-in-law, who bought it new. It has been in one accident. Someone backed into it at a traffic light. The car was repaired by an ultra high quality shop in Atlanta that did all collision repair for the local MB Dealer. The collision happend at about 2 mph. |
