Seeking E320 Cabriolet

Looking to purchase a clean well cared for E320A of 1994/95 vintage. Must be a stock vehicle - no spoilers or body kits please!

Color preferences are for the gray metallic or black pearl exterior, with a gray or tan interior.

I am located in southern California.

Thanks,
Neil

Wonderful choice for a ride. Take your time, when looking, the odds are that more fine examples will be found right there in Southern California than anywhere else....

A good one will cost you all the money, and depreciation compared to other W124s will be horizontal by comparison, but there are minters still out there.

It might even be worth it to call all the Mercedes dealers in Southern California and have them be on the alert for them, they might not show up on the front line of their used car lots being that old, but you never know, a good one might be traded in at BH Mercedes, WI Simonson, etc. I think there are over 20 dealers all over So. Cal., plus high line used car dealers, try to be a little flexible with color preferences, and that will make your search easier.

Get a good one of these, and you won't be sorry. They would look lovely with Euro lights (only option I would add that functionally and aesthetically enhances the car)

Insist on all books and records, no wrecks or rust, a local car would be best for you

Good luck in the hunt, don't be in a hurry

There a lots of these on autotrader.com. Every other ad mentions rare.
Not really very rare and the pool of potential buyers is small.

Most of them tend to be low mileage. I would think they typically
would not have been daily drivers. Seems like the condition of the
convertible top and mechanism would be key. I'll bet replacing a top
is big time expensive.

My wife and I purchased a 1995 cabriolet nearly five years ago and love it. Be sure to check the engine wiring harness and head gasket for replacement.

Good luck!
