DFW, TX 83' 300D Turbo $1000

Hi all,
I have an 83' 300TD with burgundy interior for sale for $1000 neg. I have been driving it for 6 months (i put 5 new Kumho 195's on it 2 months ago), and now want a Jeep. The original odometer had 175000 on it when it quit working. Broken items are: a/c, radio, power antenna, driver seat has mange, both front and rear windshield seals are leaking and drivers side rear window doesn't work.

Tags and inspection are current. It does have a working sun roof, and will start and run (I drive it everyday), sometimes you have to put it in neutral to start it. As most older Merc's it leaks oil. The oil is coming from the Valve cover. I have several parts and filters for it that will go with it. As well, it has fresh oil and fuel filters installed. If interested in making an offer call me at 817-205-3784. I understand its condition is not great but I am willing to negotiate, just needin some down payment money.

It appears the dealership is going to give me a sizeable amount for the car. If none of you want it, I will just trade it in.

Really though, just shoot me an offer. Right now $500 for salvage is the high bid.

You will have much better luck if you actually list where the car is in the description. That way interested parties can figure out if its worth it for them to pick it up.

Cool, and I thought just listing its location in the title was good. It is in Dallas/Fort Worth TX. and Whiskey Dan is supposed to come get a look at it. I will entertain any ligit offer that comes in before I talk with him.

I guess people near Dfw might know what that means, I didn't. I thought it was some strange acronym related to the car itself. (Divorced female white?)

I guess if you have never had a connecting flight in Dallas Forth Worth, then that would have been tricky. I still can't figure out how Maui is OGG....

Me, too. It seems like the trend around here lately to not mention where the car is at...no offense, a_merc.

To some extent a subject line that says 300 TD and pics showing a sedan will turn off some lookers.

Tough crowd, eh, a_merc?

I believe you're right. It seems that the only sales option for this thing is either salvage or a complete resto.
