I have a clean Mercedes that I wish I could keep. Recently, the vacuum pump failed, shooting 12 bearings and seriously damaged the engine. There are 180k miles on it. Smoke silver/tan interior. You may want to repair or use it for parts. Best offer.

If you have comprehensive coverage, see if your insurance will give you anything for it. I know a fellow who's battling his insurance over a $5500 salvage settlement ($5800 damage payout, $300 buy-back) because he knows of someone who got a crate engine paid for. In both cases the damage was shown to be caused by a failed vacuum pump.
