1978 280SE Euro parts car
 

The project is coming to an end for now, and I need to sell these cars. First up is the engine donor, a 1978 280SE (W116). This is not, I would think, a restoration candidate; most of the sheet metal that's not rusted through has been replaced with putty.

That said, it has a euro-spec M110 engine within which I couldn't get fuel and spark to coalesce. It has 5 15" bundt wheels, front and rear euro small bumpers, plaid cloth and vinyl seats, and fully manual heater controls. Most all of the chrome is still on the car, as well.

The PO drove it for a while, but parked it after burning out a fuel pump. He replaced the battery, distributor, and wires, as well as flushing and filling the cooling system.

I'd like to get $1000, which is what I've got into it.
