1983 MB 4 CYL inline diesel - with low miles. White exterior with blue MBTEX interior.

This particular car has over 10K miles of blended WVO.

THE GOOD: The car has good tires, the AC works (it needs a charge at the moment, but has been converted to R134), the brakes are good, the sunroof works, no water leaks, drives straight, the tranny shifts great, the body has no dents and is SOLID but has surface rust (NO rotten steel) etc..... I commuted between Washington DC and Norfolk, VA in her every weekend for several months and never worried.

THE BAD: She leaks a some oil out of the rear passenger side of the valve cover. I have a new gasket for it, but I never got around to putting it on, I just kept my eye on the oil level and topped it off.... she's been using a quart every 500 miles and will leave a spot on the driveway. The paint is faded and there is surface rust spots (no rotten steel and it doesn't look to bad, just needs TLC). It has the factory AM/FM cassette stereo and it sucks. The seats are in fair shape - a few knicks and cuts, but not terrible. The Vacuum automatic door locks system doesn't work, but it works with the keys fine. Most of the rubber/plastic body trim is old and sun faded. There's nothing else MAJOR wrong, but it's an antique that's been driven, so.
