For sale is my wife's daily driver as she's moving to a TDI. Of the sixteen MB diesels we've purchased, this is runner up to the legendary 'Hershey' (purchased from Joe Golden and ran 22 straight months without touching it, other than oil changes)
This is an extraordinary diesel, tracking perfect, shifting perfect with good 'get up'. 1985 300DT 252k miles $2400 OBO Vin# WDBAB33C3FA245656 e. Goods i. Phenom running car, always has been ii. Repaint a couple of years ago (Anth…Grey) iii. Real nice interior (AC needs a charge only) iv. Matching Michelins on Alloys v. Great engine-tranny vi. Clear front marker lenses vii. Daily driver for the last five years, eight months viii. All records from 1/03 onward f. Bads i. Some small, patchy rust beginning ii. You're right in that my phrase sounds a lot like you hear on ebay. But I think you'll find me 100% honest. I've charged the AC every year prior to this one. The last charge in 07 lasted about 2 months. In addition to a leak, the AC compressor has to be turned on and off by a toggle switch, secured in the cabin.

Hey Don. Yeah it seems like when I sold you Hershey I sold it to you with non working a/c. I remember you said charging it each spring got you thru the summer
 So I believe Don if he says a charge will hold for a while. Good luck with the sale!
