Wheel question for you ?
I've got a 97 E320 and was wondering he much leeway is there for mounting a 37mm offset wheel on this car vs what I see are standard of 41mm for the 210 chassis.
Reason I ask is I see some C class sized wheels that I think might work on my E. Any expirences? Thanks, Mike |
MikeM, the 37 mm offset is ok if the new wheel width is still about the same. I believe the OEM wheel is 16x7.5.
Why downgrade to a C-Class wheel when there are so many nice E-Class wheels to consider? I think the AMG Monoblock in size 17x7.5 is really nice for W210 models. If you do not want to go Plus 1 check out the OEM 5-spoke wheel found on the 97 E420 and the 98-99 E430 in size 16x7.5. By the way the car's price is now $35k! www.statusimports.com/e430.html |

Tough Sell
Not that Kevin doesn't have a nice car, but
unless he finds a buyer looking for that particular car and is willing to do some creative financing ( i.e equity loan, 2nd mort. etc.) it's going to be a tough sell, even if the economy was doing good. BTDT |
