1987 300 TD Turbo diesel wagon. New Jersey 170k $1500
1987 300 TD Turbo diesel wagon. New Jersey 170k $1500
First off look at the pics closely. There is no structural rsut at all just some nasty surface rust. I saved this car from the clutches of a parts seller. Fixed the exhaust, did valve cover, oil pan gasket, oil change. I haven't changed the fuel filter yet. Has new radiator and appears to have new motor mounts. Take a look at the pics and you will see that there is no structural rust. Runs and drives very very well ( see youtube links below for vid of motor running) . Has a suspension thunk when you brake hard, looks like the bushings gone on the passenger rear control arm or something like that. ( $45 part and some skinned knuckles). Acceleration good shifts very smooth. This was going to be my winter project. I'm sure someone will correct me, but they only imported 1500 of these, hence my asking price. Very strong engine, trans, turbo. Interior 7 out of 10. Has small tear on driver seat, cracked dash and faded carpet. Rear shocks work, but just sprung a new leak. Accumulators appear to be doing their job. Body is rough, mostly surface, but needs new fender and two door skins. Shock points good and jack point are good(but need a little RR) , floor is good. some a/c parts missing. I'm not one to paint a rosey picture, so look at the photos and follow the link to these vids. If you want to see more I will email.
