FS: 1983 Mercedes 300SD - BEAUTIFUL CAR!

All right peeps, after being a member here since I bought "The Phoenix" back in March, it's time to move her on to a new home so that I can renew my search for a 300TD wagon, which was what I was after in the first place when I found the SD. The car is currently on craigslist, so no need to repost the details here. Here is the craigslist ad:

http://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/cto/1552547773.html (cars & trucks - by owner)

Any questions can be sent through this site or through the craigslist ad.

Yep, fix the star, and you'll get your price.

I'm working on a project to motorize my star so I can spin it at various speeds. Also the Knight Rider lights in the front grill.

Careful, if you spin it too fast it may have a gyro effect, which could cause you to suddenly veer off the side of the road...

That is certainly one nice 300SD!!

Mine would be embarrassed to park next to it.

Not sure why yours looks better. I wash mine every five years whether it needs it or not!!

My trick is knocking the interval for washing down to three years... you should try it!

Yea, besides...the newer eight-spoke wheels look out of place on the older cars anyway.

Hey, whatever floats your boat. The chrome fender trim and wheels are part of the appeal to a lot of people, but I realize that purists may like a more stock look. They were on the car when I got it.

Yup. But I'm a 100% stock guy/fan, too.

Chrome wheels is mostly a California thing. There's more chrome aftermarket bundts in CA., than stock.

Buy the car and find out, or are you just going to knock it?
