1980 300SD, Chapel Hill NC

I am selling a 1980 300SD, a car to be restored or parted out by purchaser. Mechanically, it is in good condition, cosmetically it needs some help. The odometer reads 167k, but I estimate it to have roughly 210k on it. Original transmission, engine replaced by previous owner at 100k. In '07 I replaced the starter. In '08 it got new front and back windshield gaskets and new tires.

I have previously used this car as my commuter and occasional trip car (it has traveled to Asheville, Charlotte, and New Bern from Chapel Hill numerous times without incident). It has only had two owners before me, though its interior had been neglected when I purchased it in '05. It requires more investment than I am willing to make right now and I have no use for the parts.

There is only one significant rust damaged spot, in the spare wheel well of the trunk.
