the real shame is that the 95 civic is not a bad looking car on its own. I personally find it more attractive than the MB body style parts hes grafted to it. This guy has managed to create a hybrid that is less than either of its two parts.

On Sunday during brunch with my lady friend, I remarked to her that the Toyota Camry, and one of the upscale Hyundai four doors, looked more like a Mercedes-Benz, than a real Mercedes-Benz.

She drives the last generation Toyota Camry - that looks a whole lot like the last E-Class sedans. I've got an interest in buying a 2008 E320 Bluetec to replace my '99 E300TD - but they sure look like the last Camry to me.

The Asians have got to be paying large dollars for design information to come out with Mercedes-looking cars BEFORE Mercedes even does! It kinda makes fun of anyone owning a Mercedes, but that's the way it goes. LOL!

That Hyundai Genesis looks identical to a Mercedes, it has all the typical Mercedes styling cues. I'm not sure how this could happen unless Hyundai was hiring the same designer that Mercedes uses. I think its a shame...

Not at all. If it looks like anything german made, it looks like a VW fox. Its as close to an E30 as it is to a plymouth reliant. But then again, most cars from the 80s have similar boxy body lines reflecting the tastes of the decade. I think its a mistake to attribute too much styling credit to the germans.
