I've mostly just learned from these forums but I'm looking to make my first MB Diesel purchase (first car that will be truly mine, actually).

I live on the opp. side of the country but am really, really tempted here. Would you say the bomber is reliable enough to take a nice cross country trip back home?

I know it's a long shot, but that color, price, mods and maintenance are threatening to override my sense of practicality
