CSCMS1- I don't have paper orders yet, there coming out with overseas orders on the 17th...I have all overseas listed on my dream sheet so I'm hoping to get over to Germany. The command leveling orders come out on the 24th, If I'm on that wave of orders I could end up overseas or stay stateside. Familiar with Scott, we have a weather "hub" there, the 15th OWS...they do all the weather for the Eastern United States.

I rated the paint so low because its due for new paint. The paint on the hood is chipping and the previous owner spray painted 2 spots on the hood, I guess in an attempt to prevent rust where the paint was chipping. If the hood was repainted, it would not be that bad. I took some close ups for everyone's benefit. Link below*

Peter, yes the 250C does have some rusting above the rear bumper near the gas tank door.

Nifty car!

Are you angling for Ramstein? Germany is incredible; my wife and I head to Garmisch about every year. There is a decent base junkyard at Ramstein, but stuff goes fast. I had better luck at the Baumholder and Spang junkyards -- always some W201's and 124's to yank euro parts off of. There are always interesting wheels to pick from too.

What AC compressor does the 250S have? Looks like it was converted from a York at some time.

Peter, I'm not sure of the type of compressor. I don't know if it was ever changed out but it wouldn't surprise me. That's prob why the system still works...I dont know for sure though.

PJ, I'm not sure why the 250 doesnt have the "C". I've wondered that myself and had assumed it never had a "C". After looking up other 250C's I found those have the C attached at the end. My only guess is that when the car went through a nut and bolt restoration in the early 80's they put a 250 badge on with out the "C". Dont know for sure though...

Walrus- Yes, I will be selling the 250C after I install new spark plugs and get it running tip-top.
