My brother is looking to buy a 126 body type Mercedes. He has about $1500 to spend. He likes the 126 type but that isn't a deal breaker. Diesel is preferred but also not a deal breaker.

Hartford Connecticut.. Advantage Automotive... Has a 126, SEL in front. Don't have their number but you can find it online somewhere.. Car is in really nice shape, and needs a battery or whatever.. Runs good, I just hate four doors on anything aside from either a pick-up truck, or a station wagon.. Or I would pick it up myself..

I am selling one of my cars. It's a 1984 300SD with approximately 340,000 miles (odo says 320,000 but quit working a while back). This was my daily driver until I moved to a 87 300SDL. I'm the third owner of the car and it has been properly maintained. I have it on Craig's list for $1,400 but the price is negotiable. AC works well but needs a charge - which I can do. Interior is original dark blue leather - front seats need to be redone. Transmission was rebuilt by previous owner and shifts great. Engine fires right up and runs well. I think the car is solid. If I were keeping it I would do a valve job and replace the timing chain. I have some spare parts that came with the car like a turbo, head etc. plus the stock 14" bunt wheels if you want them.
