Probably because 400Eric went on a post reporting frenzy and recently and the moderator is reading it. When he trashed me on his own sale thread after the rule 5 one got closed, I responded with a damning post. Shortly after my post was flagged by someone and deleted by the moderators. They were nice enough to delete 400Eric's remarks about me as well, so I suppose it is even.

For the record, I haven't reported anything to anyone. Everything I have had to say I have said here on the open forums for everyone to see.

I never did get to see you last post on my thread. Apparently, it got deleted fairly quickly. It does appear though that you broke your word that you weren't gonna post there anymore. I knew you wouldn't be able to help yourself. I guess you felt like you had to get the last word. You'll probably do the same here.

I had never posted in your thread before, if I recall correctly. When you attacked me personally in your thread I chose to respond, and even then I didn't bash your cars.

Look at the brilliance of this man. I'm damned if I want to respond and damned if I don't. I'm pretty sure you read my post, but I could care less. Your high school debate coach must have loved you.

Oh look at me... I just had to have the last word. How weak I am.

You bashed my cars here on this thread, one page back, at post #25. That post was way out of line, inaccurate, and completely uncalled for. It remains the most offensive post I have ever seen here on this site.

In the future, I sincerely hope you will think things through a little more thoroughly before you post inaccuracies about other people's cars that you have never even seen before.

Howdy, i have a 93 300D 2.5 turbo. Formerly owned by a german born and raised Clock-smith/Benz fanatic/preacher. Vehicle has records of maintenance up until i bought the thing about 2 years ago.

Unfortunately she's seen rough days as of late. Wife smacked metal support pole crunched in passenger fender this is the second fender the car has had, upon purchase the louvre/slots for the turbo to breath were not on the replacement fender added to the vehicle.

Rear pass window came off track, reset window myself but lost the metal piece that attaches wind-up chord/motor to he window lift. (stays up on its own easy fix and window moto works fine)

A/C had abotu 1000.00 dollars worth of work a few summers back, works great until this past summer the fan motor decided to stop spinning, another easy fix i need to get on!

And lat but not least, the drivers side balljoint literaly snapped in half, thankfully in a parkinglot when wife was driving car about month back, since then she's been sitting in the driveway looking pitiful.

211,000 miles on odometer, motor,trans everything else worked flawessly. She got around 28-29 miles to the gallon, had frequent oil changes using Bosch filters and Rotella Diesel oil. Just replaced Alternator and the resistor with New Bosh Alt/resistor last fall, as wll as a new BIG 12v diesel battery. She's a damn Tank! She's just showing her age with some minor stuff and my family has grown into a larger SUV, was going to replace fender with proper slotted oem piece, and fix fan and Ball Joints, but just don't have the darn time anymore. If interested i can send/show you pics/videos and anything you'd like to know about the little 300D. You can pick it up in the current condition she sits for around 1,500 bucks or i can fix a few odds and ends and you can have her for 2500.
