FS 123 TD WAGON

Helping lady friend sell 1985 TD Wagon; perfect interior; 130K miles; all options work; new paint; diesel or veggie fuel; lady owned perfect turbo; I know pictures are a must; we'll try to get some. Lady wants $3,500 for quick sell to buy new car; Diesels are not my thing so is it a good price to move it fast?

130k miles for $3500? You'll have it sold in about one second. For these old cars, condition is everything, and the only way you can prove condition is to have lots of pictures - underhood, body from all angles, interior (dash, seats, console, rear seats). "New paint" is the only glaring variable - why was it repainted? how well was it repainted? If it was repainted for under $2000, you'll get your $3500. If it was repainted for $5000, you'll be able to get more.

To get top dollar the car needs records to show the mileage is authentic.

Carlo(s) are you out there? Assuming the vegoil conversion is already done, or are you saying it's 'ready' for conversion?

Been out of pocket for a few days. The wagon is already converted to run either diesel or veggie. I took it to an indie to adjust the fueling (smoking a bit) and repair rear axle noise that turned out to be loose mounting for the rear right accumulator. Gave it back to my lady friend and guess what? she liked it back again and changed her mind about selling for now. My take is that prices of new cars scared her!. Alas it is a woman prerogative to change her mind.
