$2300 1981 W123 wagon
 

The owner of Clarence Pott's Mercedes repair shop in Macon retired and his personal car 81 300TD is for sale. Clarence sold the car to a friend of his and talking to the fella it seems that the compressor will need to be replaced. Mileage is unknown on the car but it is in good condition and runs, drives out good and has always been well maintained. If I were not trying to get a business going I'd be all over it

Pics would surely help. Seems if his friend could fix the A/C he could get an extra grand, easy.

I met the owner 10 yrs ago when I bought a customers 260e. I bet this wagon is a real buy

I am going over there at 2 pm this afternoon to take some pictures and check it out. I will post them this afternoon.

The original owner knew his stuff in regards to MB's.

Here are a few pics showing the car. If anyone is interested let me know. Car can be had for $2300. The car seems to be mechanically sound. It starts easily and drives out good.

All the rusted spots are underneath the car. The hood hinge areas did not have any rust to speak of. Let me know if anyone is interested and I'll send you rest of the pictures.

Any service history and/or needs would help too.

IS the rust anything dangerous or threatening the floors?
I just can't get another Flintstone's wagon like my euro 84.
