No market for these cars. I bought mine after it sat for sale for 10 months. Definitely the time to buy if you want to hold into it for another 20 years as a potential investment.

Still for sale! Thought it would be an easy sale. Guess not.

There is NO market for these at all... Even if they are in great condition, they still need to be priced very cheap, especially the 500's... Because no one wants to pay for the fuel. Unless they buy it as a toy, but no one wants to pay the expensive maintenance for an "old" M-B when they can just buy a new one if they have the money to buy a toy.

I suggest that you keep it... Unless you need the money in which case I recommend that you reduce the price

Well of course if I can't sell it I have no other choice but to keep it. I am not giving this car away. Eventually collectors will come around. For what it is, a low mileage Mercedes Benz convertible, eventually I can get my price of 12,000.

I'm not sure this is the place for getting a premium price for a Benz. Most folks here seem to be looking for fixer-upers they can buy on the cheap. Maybe you should try the MBCUSA magazine or your local MBCUSA section magazine. Those might be a better place to market a car like yours.
