Hello All -
New here but active over on the porsche side. This has been a great car, and my girlfriend may not forgive me for selling it, but a 85 911 is the new apple of my eye. I have put a firm price of $7,000 on it to move it to a good home. We just returned from a trip from pittsburgh to chautauqua and took this car rather than our 2008 honda pilot and it was a fierce high speed cruiser.
This car has been an absolute pleasure in so many ways. Spent its life in south carolina until brought here. Newer soft top, Driver side seat just recovered professionally, hard top in great condition, recently installed kinder rear seats. Car has 90's era pioneer with cd changer in trunk - you could get ipod in to replace changer.
Mechanical Condition: Great Mechanical Condition. Everything works save for clock. Converted A/C blows cold thru all vents. Would not hesitate to drive this 800 miles and we recently have - i would rather drive this on a trip than my honda pilot. 26k of maintenance receipts on spreadsheet i can email you. Past five years maintenance - brakes/rotors (new front/rear), steering damper, power steering line, control arm, radiator, tie rods, water pump, belts. Before that: New shocks, ball joints, control arms, soft top. Cosmetic condition: Paint is in good shape but has nicks here and there. New dash top. Veneers in decent shape. Driver seat recently professional recovered. Kinder seats are new and really finish off the interior. We actually go out with our friends to dinner in the car - we are all 5'7'' and below though : )
Blemishes: Paint overall good but there are nicks and dings but shows very well, Veneer has chip on center console, Central Locks sometimes slow from driver side- good from other doors/trunks, Wheels in good condition but some pitting.
